It's a busy season for students in the FHS Jazz Bands. On Wednesday, February 15, Farmington played host to the South Suburban Conference Jazz Festival. The top jazz ensemble from 9 of the 10 conference schools took part in a day long festival that included performances, clinics, and a special hour long concert by four Twin Cities area professional jazz musicians. The event was hosted and coordinated by FHS Band Directors Erin Holmes and Bradley Mariska, who are also prepping for their Winter Jazz Concert this Monday, February 27.  The Winter Jazz Concert will feature several tunes by members of Jazz I, Jazz II, and Jazz III.
